I know I've posted ten thousand times today, but dammit, Doghouse Riley is on fire.
I made a vow during the ascension of St. Ronnie that I would never discuss federal spending with someone who imagines Social Security is an "entitlement" while a new aircraft carrier every two years is not, or who uses "government regulation" as a pejorative, while failing to disclose that he, like Reagan, would include food inspection, airline safety, and the requirement of driving on the right side of the room on his list of invidious nanny-statism.
....
There are serious consequences to your behavior the past quarter-century, serious as a fucking tumor, and none of them have to do with the fate of your think tanks, though a lot of them have to do with their output. The Reagan Revolution did not take a wrong turn. It arrived. You have not hit a rough patch; you've been found out. In a less well-off, less compromised, more socially responsible nation you people would be sharing an ice floe, debating whether its shrinking dimensions were just more of Al Gore's propaganda.

A photo from yesterday's excursion to Cheongpyeongsa temple in Chuncheon, Gangwondo. It's from approximately 976 A.D. and quite awesome. There will be more photos later, but for now, just enjoy this one:

I keep thinking about getting married.
I dunno, two weeks shy of 22 is right about where my mother was. Mm, well, I guess she was two weeks in. Scary, isn't it? Well, most of the time. I keep getting ideas for the actual event (though admittedly, who doesn't have theirs basically mapped), and a desire to share my existence with someone. And wishing merely I lived with a dependable, trustworthy guy. I guess that wouldn't have to be marriage, of course...
Huh. I think I just figured out why I'm thinking about this. Well that was unexpected for the entry. LMAO.
I guess being married isn't really what I'm after, but the eventplanning is still fun. :D Regardless, where the hell is this guy? The eternal question.
Who do you think you are, Wii Fit? One pound lost in three days. And my calves/core are on fire. LMAO!
Well, time for lunch, digestion, and undoubtedly more Wii Fit.

Hillary Clinton has a petition for Secretary Leavitt regarding the proposed Department of Health and Human Services actions redefining birth control as abortion.
Amanda has more. "It would be funny if it weren’t for the fact that the idea that preventing pregnancy is a form of terminating pregnancy hadn’t found a foothold in the federal government."

Even though I will most likely have the North Koreans checking my photos, how awesome would THAT look on my photojournalism resume?
*hyperventilates*
I have to admit, as bold as I am...this actually does scare me a bit.
