So, my Design Principles class is more of a workload than I was anticipating. It's okay, the work isn't exactly hard, it's just time consuming and demanding. I just want to be like "...Okay, look. This is why people invented Photoshop and Illustrator and InDesign, because it does the fucking tedious part FOR YOU."
We finished our first project in that class on Monday. The Project: You had to successfully illustrate the 8 principals of design. The catch: You could only use straight lines and squares, and only black or white color. The lines had to touch two edges of the canvas space, could not intersect squares, and the squares could not intersect themselves. 180 thumbnails, then 80 roughs, to finally end in 8 finalized designs. THEN it had to be displayed in a creative manner. -.- I am glad to be done. It took for goddamn ever.
Working at Target is okay, although people can be sooo irritating. Like the people who buy 50,000 cards because it's Mother's Day/ graduation season/ Teacher appreciation day/ WHATEVER. Okay, that's not inherently so bad, but when the people put all of the cards inside their envelopes before they get to the checkout lane so i have to stand there for like, 15 minutes and take the all the fuck OUT to scan the barcodes, it makes me want to strangle someone. Or, the people who fold the 30 articles of clothing on the belt before i scan them and have to unfold them anyway. -.- Or the anal people who hand the clothes to me one at a time so they don't get dirty.
But! Target= paycheck= new computer this weekend most likely! :D I'm not thinking of it as blowing $1,200, but as investing $1,200! And yes, i do need a computer that costs $1,200. Not a laptop or one that comes with a monitor and geegaws, no no. The tower, that's it. Is $1,200. :D :D :D It has Sixteen gigs of RAM. Sixteen. Mine currently has one, and I remember when I got it, it was sweet for having a gig. FUCK YOU, DALARAN, MY COMPUTER WILL DESTROY YOU NOW. Yaaaaaaaaaaaay!
And it's also a good day when you catch a glimpse of yourself in the full length mirror, have to backpedal, and say "Man! Today is a skinny day! :D"

Is anyone else mad at the Wham song Carless Whispers has been redone by the band Seether and that Hollywood is remaking Footloose? Seriously, wtf! Wham and all of there songs are for sure meant to be 1980's smooth jazz ballads. Not whatever crap Seether fancies themselves as being. Huh, Post-Grunge, according to Wikipedia. Whatever. And Footloose! Why! I'm just glad that Kevin Bacon's roll isn't going to be redone by Zac Efron. I'm really surprised he didn't have a roll in the Twilight movies -.-

I have been sick for like. Two weeks and I hate it. I hate spring and its random-ass temperature changes! Jordon works all day now and my classes don't start until the 13th, so I get to just hang out. A lot. Good thing both Viva Pinata and Fallout 3 have been calling me. And FFX. Shh. It will be epic.

A really good friend of mine was being his normal dumb college boy self when he slipped off the roof where he and a couple of friends were sitting and shattered his lower vertabrae. He's paralyzed from the waist down now.
This month has really sucked hard.
